Terms of Service

1. Service description

SiteLocaleAI provides a self-hosted internationalization toolkit consisting of a JavaScript library, a Node.js backend SDK, and supporting tools. We operate a billing API that manages license keys, subscriptions, and payment processing through Stripe.

2. Account terms

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and license keys. One license key is required per site domain.

3. Payment and billing

Plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time; service continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Self-hosted software

The SDK, JavaScript library, CLI, and dashboard are installed and run on your own infrastructure. You are responsible for your hosting environment, server security, and compliance with your LLM provider's terms of service. We do not access or control your self-hosted installation.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use SiteLocaleAI to translate content that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property rights, or distributes malware. We reserve the right to revoke license keys for violations.

6. Limitation of liability

SiteLocaleAI is provided "as is." We are not liable for translation accuracy, LLM provider outages, or issues arising from your self-hosted deployment. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

7. Changes to terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
